Migrate a Product's downloads from Release Portal to Support Accounts Downloads Portal

 

  • Before migrating a product's downloads from the Versata Release Portal to Support Accounts Downloads Portal, ensure that you have management rights to the product in question in the Support Accounts portal. Otherwise, create a ticket with the CSAI team to get request access. 

  • Navigate to Downloads and then click on the respective product, if the product is not showing up you need to request access as stated above.

  • Click on Category Management on the top right side of the page to create categories for the product (usually Product Downloads and Documentation, which can also have sub-categories if required). You can check existing products as examples. If you do not see the Category Management button you do not have Management Access therefore refer above for obtaining access.

  • Download a version of the product in question from the Release Portal as well as its Release Notes pdf (if there is any)

  • In the Support Accounts portal, Navigate to Product Downloads of the product and click Upload a File:

  • Fill in all details such as Name, Description, Version, etc, and upload the corresponding file.

  • If there are any release notes you can either upload them to the same section or upload them to a dedicated section in the Documentations tab (recommended).

  • Repeat the above process for all the product versions.
